The Wall Street Journal is Seeking a Reporter to Cover Private Equity and Restructuring

The Wall Street Journal seeks a versatile reporter to join our Deals team and cover areas including private equity, distressed investing, and corporate governance. It includes coverage of Wall Street’s true giants — the likes of KKR, Carlyle, Apollo, TPG and beyond.

The deals team is at the core of the Journal’s coverage — breaking huge news, telling tales of corporate intrigue and delving into the pressing philosophical issues about how companies are run in the modern era. We seek a prolific reporter and feature writer who can weigh in on a variety of complicated subjects and has an extreme hunger for scoops. Good judgment and an ability to work well with colleagues are a must too. Position starts August 1.
