The Capital Roundtable Seeking Conference Producer

The Capital Roundtable, America’s leading conference company for the middle-market private equity community, is looking for a Conference Producer.

The role requires impeccable attention to detail and the ability to multitask while working in a fast paced and deadline driven, collaborative, fun environment. The Conference Producer will work closely with our other producers – as well as our marketing and business development team — to produce 25 day-long conferences per year.

You should have a minimum of 5 years relevant experience — preferably in conference production but will consider event planning, project management, senior executive support, or substantial experience coordinating, trafficking or in operations…  Relevant business/finance/private equity experience or background a plus, as is an MBA!

We’re seeking a very organized person with excellent writing and proofing skills, great on the phone,  and with mastery of Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities include  —

  • Help design conferences, build agendas, collaborate with conference chairmen, work with copywriters, speakers, sponsors, etc. 
  • Create and proofread conference materials with marketing team (program agendas, speaker bios, conference calendars, speaker logistics, PowerPoint slides etc.)
  • Regularly communicate with conference chairmen, speakers, and sponsors … as well as with the venue
  • Oversee speaker recruitment — draft & send new invitations, follow-up on outstanding invitations
  • Help build out calendar of conferences
  • Manage logistics on-site at 25 conferences each year, including facilitating speakers, sponsors, chairmen, facility, and other logistics
