InfraLatinAmerica, a part of the Mergermarket Group, the Latin American market’s leading infrastructure finance intelligence provider, has an immediate opening for an experienced senior financial or business journalist to spearhead the intelligence service’s expansion of content and take this respected brand to the next level.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one to two years’ experience managing a financial newsdesk as deputy editor or senior reporter and will be committed to building and expanding their own team dedicated to breaking news. A plus would be to have a book of contacts from the Latin American infrastructure procurement and financing industries and / or relevant contacts in the local M&A and capital markets. Main focus markets are Brazil, Colombia, Peru and Mexico among others. Fluency in Spanish and or Portuguese required.
Main responsibilities would be writing, editing and supervising news and longer form content for bi-weekly bulletin, with a view to expanding to a daily service. Hiring and expanding a team of talented and driven reporters dedicated to getting market leading scoops about the Latin American infrastructure industry.
This high-profile role will also involve being the face of InfraLatinAmerica to the infrastructure investment industry at the title’s annual events.
