Quinnipiac University’s School of Communications seeks an experienced professional in business journalism and/or financial communication to join the faculty as its Alan Abelson Endowed Professor of Business Journalism/Financial Communication beginning Fall 2021. The tenure-track professorship at the assistant or associate level will be a joint appointment in the Departments of Journalism, Media Studies and/or Strategic Communication depending on the successful candidate’s areas of expertise and experience. Candidates must be proficient in either business journalism or financial communication with experience in multiple reporting techniques, such as data gathering and analysis, records requests, business document navigation, as well as the use of digital technologies. The position presents opportunities for cross-disciplinary pursuits across the School, University and professional institutions. |
