Ferrous Scrap Pricing Reporter Reports to: Managing editor Location: New York City Scrap Price Bulletin, a subsidiary of the Metal Bulletin Group and Euromoney Institutional Investor and a leading source of steel and iron scrap prices and market intelligence in North America, is looking for a reporter to gather regional scrap prices and deliver accurate, timely and comprehensive market intelligence.
In this role, the successful candidate will collect pricing information, establish and maintain contact with companies in the sector and provide in-depth reporting on the US scrap market.
The candidate should also be adept at working with numbers and managing data.
Precision and attention to detail is critical when pricing metals that clients rely on in their business dealings.
It is an international business-information group covering asset management, price discovery, data and market intelligence, and banking and finance under brands including Euromoney, Institutional Investor, BCA Research, Ned Davis Research and Metal Bulletin.
