The Wall Street Journal is embarking on an ambitious and creative new project, and we are looking for the right journalists to build it.
Here are the details: It is a digital news product that will – like nothing we’ve done to date – burrow into the heart of how business really gets done. The topic area is around supply chain and logistics, and will involve understanding everything from transport routes and software algorithms that track them, to the flow of raw materials and manufacturing processes. If ever there were a survey course on global commerce, this is it.
This effort will add to our ranks of verticals, such as CMO Today and CFO Journal, and will also afford many opportunities to write for all parts of the Journal.
If this challenge sounds right for you, there are positions that quickly need filling. They are likely to be based in New York, but there may be some flexibility on location. (Each is available at the links below.)
Above all, you should be comfortable with digital and social platforms, proficient in business, and hungry to understand and explain this largely secret world to experts and uninitiated audiences alike.
