Mergermarket has an immediate opening for an experienced business reporter to cover energy companies on a full time basis. The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years of reporting with proven ability to unearth stories and write about complex issues in a clear manner. Previous experience covering energy or related industries is a plus.
The position is entirely focused on off-diary/enterprise reporting and is a great opportunity to move into an investigative journalism position. The position is home-based, but the reporter will work closely with colleagues in the New York office as with bureaus across the world.
