With billions of dollars’ worth of investment in the US and Canadian markets set to mature over the next few years and billions more needed to meet future capacity needs, the power generation and energy sector are among the most dynamic and exciting markets on which to report.
Working closely with Inframation’s associate editor and Americas editor, this is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious journalist with a keen interest in the financing of the US and Canadian power and energy infrastructure.
As Inframation’s power and energy reporter you will:
- Produce scoops on energy fund raisings, market financings and M&A.
- Write insightful analysis pieces about trends in the power and energy sector.
- Support Inframation’s team of scoopsters, advising and supporting the associate editor and managing editor.
As an ambitious financial markets journalist you will have:
- Knowledge of the power and energy markets. Fundraising and finance reporting experience is a bonus.
- A proven ability to work closely with other reporters.
- An ability to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with market sources.
