Communications Director Job Description

Serve as the point person for all written communication from Hunters Point Parks Conservancy. All information about events will come to the Communications Directors and you will craft HPPC’s message.

  • Prepare the weekly email newsletter.

            Complete draft by Tuesday at 7 PM. Send for review

            Schedule distribution for 12 noon on Thursday.

  • Post details about the event on

            Google Calendar

            HPPC Website calendar. Select some events to be featured on our Web page.

  • Post on Facebook
  • Post photos from events on Facebook & Instagram

Organize and collect photos on Google Drive. These will be used in the annual report.

  • Write press releases as requested and distribute
  • Write 300-word profiles of our corporate sponsors for the
