Dealreporter is looking to hire a senior legal journalist to cover M&A, antitrust and policy developments that will impact corporates.
The right candidate will be able to interpret specific merger agreement conditions, legal rulings and policy changes to produce editorial pieces analysing their impact on the corporate for an investor audience.
The role will be a mixture of editorial opinion pieces and interview led deep analysis articles. The candidate would be expected to have a strong network of contacts to tap to produce editorial analysis based on interviews.
The right candidate will be able grasp new concepts quickly and have an excellent eye for detail.
The role will be based in Washington DC or New York. The right candidate should be a team player, as they will work with our global team of reporters based in offices including London, New York, Brussels, and Beijing.
