CMO Today is seeking an editor. The person will be responsible for overseeing daily and enterprise stories about issues facing chief marketing officers, in addition to publication of a highly popular newsletter. The ideal candidate should have experience covering and/or editing stories related to the marketing and advertising industry. S/he should also be willing to get in the weeds on matters related to branding, digital ad sales and agencies. The CMO editor should have experience managing a team of reporters and the ability to collaborate across departments on a routine basis. The writing needs to be sophisticated enough to appeal to CMOs, yet clear enough to be understood by intelligent readers with a casual interest marketing. This position is based in New York and reports to the Professional Products Editor.
