Advisen is looking for an editor for our Risk Network – a subscription editorial product aimed at risk professionals ranging from Insurance Risk Manager, to the Chief Risk Officer.
Topics covered in the Network span tactical and strategic global corporate
risks, including the commercial insurance sector. Topics include supply chain, international expansion, enterprise risk management, M&A, directors’ & officers’ exposures, growth initiatives and technology.
Position reports to Managing Editor Chad Hemenway (who in turn reports to Head of Editorial Rebecca Bole)
- Responsible for sourcing and writing news analysis and thought-leadership
articles pertinent to the Advisen Risk Network.
Tasks:
- Write approximately 4 to 6 news articles per week
- Source/write (with assistance) one thought-leadership piece per week,
supported by Advisen data - Write lead story for weekly newsletter
- Liaison with data analysts to retrieve pertinent data for news analysis and
thought leadership articles on weekly basis. - Conduct regular interviews with senior risk professionals for Advisen Risk
Network newsletter - Compile (with assistance from publishing team) ‘People on the Move’ and ‘New
Product Announcements’ for Advisen Risk Network - Write regular blog/comment on factors shaping the Risk arena
- Market-facing liaison for networking events and conferences
