The Wall Street Journal is looking for an enterprising reporter to write news, analysis and commentary on one of the fastest growing areas of the global capital markets, private equity.
The reporter will be writing primarily for private-equity investment professionals, entrepreneurs, consultants and other executives who read our WSJ Pro Private Equity website, newsletter and Private Equity Analyst magazine.
The successful candidate should be able to produce high-impact scoops as well as interpret complex financial concepts for a professional private-equity audience. Ideally we’re looking for someone with existing contacts in private equity but will consider promising candidates with a proven ability to generate big scoops.
We need a natural team player who can work with journalists across WSJ to produce compelling stories for the company’s various platforms. The position is based in New York.
