Debtwire is looking for an Associate Editor to join our North America Leveraged Finance desk as we scale up coverage of corporate issuers tapping the leveraged loan and high yield bond markets. Duties will include editing copy and helping to guide a team of reporters as they work leads to produce stories on new issuance throughout the various phases of the syndication process. The role will also require regular collaboration with our data and analysis teams.
The successful candidate will be an experienced primary markets journalist that has developed skills editing copy in a real-time news environment. We work together at Debtwire, so the Associate Editor will also need to exhibit leadership qualities that emphasize a team-first approach and have a genuine interest in helping reporters reach their full potential.
The role will be based in our New York office and the successful candidate will also have the ability to regularly attend out-of-town source meetings and conferences.
