Informa Global Markets is seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking Credit Markets Analyst to join its established New York City real-time editorial team.
The ideal candidate will display a genuine passion to cultivate contacts with active practitioners in the banking, broking, research and fund communities, to both formulate and curate value-added reports.
Working closely with our experienced Credit team, focus will include deriving insightful market opinion and added value information on: new issuance (including price talk, book building and distribution), key institutional activities, market talk; large flows and trends and market positioning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work under the direction and guidance of renowned analysts, upholding our reputation for fast, accurate and insightful content
- Develop and maintain a deep and productive contact base, cultivating sources from both sell and buy-side communities
- Collate, maintain and publish reports that will fulfil our clients’ thirst for real-time information
- Production, maintenance and proactive use of database and other records as might be required to add value
- Creation and publication of regular mailings and briefings that supplement on-screen delivery
Skills and Experience:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (noting that publication is in English language)
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience working in the financial sector
- Demonstrable ability to learn quickly and work hard under direction
- Some familiarity with financial markets,
- Foreign languages may be of benefit but are not mandatory
- University level qualification (finance or a related discipline may be an advantage)
