As an Account Executive based in the New York office, you will be working with our team to achieve sales goals by recruiting new subscribers and identifying additional revenue opportunities with current subscribers. This includes, but is not limited to: opportunity identification through prospecting, handling inbound trial requests, sourcing, managing trials, negotiations, subscriber management, subscriber retention and renewals.
This role provides an ideal opportunity for individuals interested in cultivating close business relationships with key decision-makers at top hedge funds, private equity firms, institutional investors, law firms and corporations.
Key responsibilities include:
· Driving new business sales revenue through acquisition of new accounts by pitching prospects the value proposition for Law Report Group publications
· Live/remote product demonstrations for prospects, trials and existing clients
· Driving revenue through the leverage of existing clients and accounts
· Attain sales quota on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
· Travelling to territory (10% travel required)
Job Qualifications:
An ideal candidate will be self-motivated, driven and energetic. A very strong candidate would have the following attributes:
· Minimum one year experience in account management, B2B sales and/or business development
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to facilitate and lead internal and external meetings
· Experience meeting with “C” level executives, at the general counsel and chief compliance officer level preferred
· Collaborative
· 4 year college degree
