WSJ Pro’s CIO Journal Seeking Reporter

WSJ Pro’s CIO Journal is looking for a reporter to cover one of the most important aspects of business, the ability to successfully deploy technology. Large corporations often spend many years and billions of dollars deploying tech. The companies that get this right can gain incomparable advantage in the market. Companies that blow it often fall behind, or worse. We are looking for someone who can get inside large companies and tell the stories of how CIOs make or break these efforts, especially through their relationships with the board, the CEO and other leaders. The reporter must be able to cultivate sources, write with clarity and offer insight, analysis and perspective that engages our professional audience. We are looking for someone who can explain how CIOs best put their ideas into action, assessing why projects go right or wrong and what it takes for a company to extract value from technology. The reporter will contribute to our successful newsletter, The Morning Download, as well as to our upcoming conference in San Francisco.

Anyone interested in this position should contact CIO Editor Steven Rosenbush at: steven.rosenbush@wsj.com
