The overall objectives of the role are:
•To research content for existing and new events – creating the best in education, insight and peer group networking
•Develop senior contacts across the hedge fund sector – arranging meetings and telephone conversations for research purposes
•Generating ideas and content for events – creating agendas that are genuinely engaging and reflect the sector’s key forces at work
•Develop key speaker relationships and populate each event’s agenda with good quality and relevant industry practitioners
•To act as an ambassador and point of contact during each event – this will involve global travel
Key Responsibilities:
•To work with Pageant’s editorial director to develop content for a series of hedge fund events
•Develop key relationships with industry practitioners that will allow the candidate to conduct detailed content research for each event and pinpoint key speakers
•In addition to the existing events, help to develop a series of new events that will enhance the brand
•To work closely with the Pageant’s events and marketing teams, keeping them informed of each event’s timings and speaker progress
•Maintaining and adding to a centralized database of key contacts
•Travelling to attend events internationally; working as part of a team to make sure that the program runs smoothly and effectively
•To provide the Senior Management with accurate information, as requested, in a timely and professional manner.
